Villa Tintoretto, Italy, Tuscany, Province of Arezzo, Monterchi, 6-10 persons
Villa Tintoretto was originally a watch tower, built in the first half of the 16th century by Ferdinando II de’ Medici and used by a small group of soldiers to watch and defend against possible enemies. The soldiers could communicate with the other towers to the right and left of the tower, using mirrors or smoke to make signals. Later on, in 1894 the family , extended the original tower, building the current house.

The pool area has a big gazebo,a Jacuzzi bath tub, table, chairs and barbeque, from which to enjoy your meal with stunning views across the valley; the mediaeval town of Monterchi and the lush green Tuscan Hills are a backdrop.
