Villa Janica is a modern villa, located on the island of Brac directly by the sea (10 m) of the quiet Ruzmarin Bay and only 1 km away from the fishing village of Sumartin.

The island of Brac, one of the most attractive destinations on the Adriatic Sea, offers many unique cultural sights and natural wonders (Blaca Desert, Dragon’s Cave), home-made culinary specialties (cheese, honey, grilled lamb, wine) and all kinds of holiday activities – from active (sailing, kiting, diving) to low-key holiday adventures in hidden coves near the azure sea and untouched nature. Except for tourism and culinary delights, the island of Brac is famous for its stones and quarries exploited already in ancient times. The first substantial building built from the high quality limestones was the Diocletian Palace in the nearby town of Split (305 AD) on the mainland and, more recently, the White House in Washington. The stone has become an inseparable part of the identity of the whole island.

The stone was also exploited in the settlement on the eastern coast of Brac called Sumartin, which nowadays has turned into a veritable small tourist oasis in the heart of untouched nature; really ideal for quiet summer vacations. Villa Janica has a property of 485 m2, while the villa itself covers an area of 480 m2 and spreads over three floors: the ground floor, mezzanine and first floor.

Villa Janica has 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and is suitable for a comfortable accommodation of 12 – 14 people.

Villa Janica was completely renovated in 2010 and was built entirely of Brac stone, just like the White House in the USA. All floors in the villa are interconnected by a wooden staircase, with beautiful iron balustrade, while the luxurious and modernly decorated rooms are connected with terraces, which will treat you to breathtaking sea views. The rocky exterior of the villa is dominated by spacious stone terraces, equipped with outdoor furniture for relaxing during hot summer days.

Stone steps lead to the entrance of the Villa on the mezzanine level, which will immediately introduce you to the luxurious contents of this villa. This floor contains 3 luxurious bedrooms with king size beds, additional modern sofas and bathrooms. There are also 3 spacious living rooms with seating furniture and an LCD TV/DVD.

All the rooms on this floor have direct access to beautiful and spacious stone terraces with outdoor furniture, and one of them also has table tennis. All the terraces have breathtaking views of the turquoise Adriatic Sea and surrounding area.

The ground floor of the Villa Janica features a spacious area assigned for relaxing, but also for enjoying while preparing various culinary specialties. This floor has a spacious bedroom with a king size bed, single bed and bathroom, making it perfect for a family accommodation. However, the most attractive part of this area is a spacious facility made up of the main kitchen with bar counter and chairs, dining room with a dining set and a living room with comfortable seating furniture for relaxing. All of the rooms are situated in one space with the minimum amount of barriers, which leaves an impression of transparency of space. Nevertheless, if you do not want to enjoy culinary delights in a closed area during hot summer days, this floor will also offer you numerous outdoor terraces with dining and seating furniture ideal for enjoying Dalmatian specialties.

Just 5 steps away lead to another set of terraces, one of which has a Jacuzzi, another has a hammock. The last terrace is close to the sea and has a day bed with loads of cushions, perfect for reading a book and gazing onto the sea with a cappuccino or cocktail in your hands.

The first floor of Villa Janica is a penthouse and consists of 2 bedrooms with king size beds, one of which has an extra single bed, and 2 designer “leather” tiled bathrooms, where a white bathtub (2m), the work of famous French designer Philippe Starck, can be found. In this part of the villa, there are also a kitchenette and sitting room with an LCD TV/DVD and library of DVD movies. This last floor of the villa has 2 terraces, where you can find your own getaway from all the curious looks.

Villa Janica is fully air-conditioned. The villa has LCD TV, DVD and CD players, wireless Internet access, iPod dock and mobile phone during your stay so you can be in contact with the villa manager. The villa also has one fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, hood, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, electric kettle, coffee machine, juicer, blender and toaster, and a second, smaller kitchen on the last floor. At your disposal, there are hair dryers, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, baby cot and feeder, security safe, numerous terraces with dining and seating furniture, table tennis, hammock, Jacuzzi for 12 people, organic vegetable garden and private beach. The villa has parking space, 2 small and 2 large brand new bikes and a private berth with power boat.

Distance to the sea is 10 m and 1km to the town center.
